Michael Vacchiano became the Superintendent of Glenwood Country Club in November of 2018.
In his extensive career, Michael began at Hollywood Country Club in Deal, New Jersey and worked as Assistant Superintendent for Alpine Country Club before accepting the head Superintendent position at the Glen Ridge Country Club where Michael stayed for almost 20 years.
During his tenure at Glen Ridge, listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs in the United States, he was credited with directing the construction of a major historic restoration project.
Plans included rebuilding four greens to USGA specs, green expansions, restoration of existing and lost bunkers to original design and resurfacing and leveling of all teeing grounds.
Michael is a graduate of Rutgers University and also holds an advanced degree in Agronomy. He is a member of the Golf Course Superintendent Associations of America and New Jersey. Michael holds New Jersey State Certified Commercial Pesticide and Fertilizer Applicator licenses.

From the North take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 11 and then take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 123, Old Bridge, Route 9 South. Proceed on Route 9 South for approximately 4 miles to the intersection of Route 9 and Fairway Lane and make a right hand turn into Fairway lane to the Country Club.
From Staten Island take the Outerbridge Crossing to Route 440 to the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 123 and proceed as outlined above.
From Central and South New Jersey, take the Garden State Parkway to Route 18 North and proceed to the Route 9 North exit. Follow Route 9 North for approximately 3 miles to the intersection of Route 9 and Fairway Lane. Take the jug handle to make a left hand turn and proceed into the Country Club.
From New Brunswick area, proceed on Route 18 South to Route 516 East to Route 9 North. At the first traffic light take the jug handle for a left hand turn into the Country Club.
