Head Golf Pro
Sal Silvestrone has been Head Golf Professional at Glenwood Country Club since 2010 and General Manager since 2013. A former Glenwood Assistant Professional in the mid-1980s, Silvestrone comes to Glenwood from Battleground Country Club where he served as Head Golf Professional since 2001.
Silvestrone’s extensive experience also includes having served as the head teaching professional and assistant golf shop manager at Bethpage State Park, home of the famous Black Course and host of the U.S. Open in 2002 and 2009.
He was also the Director of Golf at Eisenhower Park on Long Island, site of the 1927 PGA Championship. During his tenure at Eisenhower Park, he created a state-of-the-art teaching facility with seven PGA pros and assistants working under him. Silvestrone also won the Met Section PGA Merchandiser of the Year Award and brought many sectional tournaments to the course.

From the North take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 11 and then take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 123, Old Bridge, Route 9 South. Proceed on Route 9 South for approximately 4 miles to the intersection of Route 9 and Fairway Lane and make a right hand turn into Fairway lane to the Country Club.
From Staten Island take the Outerbridge Crossing to Route 440 to the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 123 and proceed as outlined above.
From Central and South New Jersey, take the Garden State Parkway to Route 18 North and proceed to the Route 9 North exit. Follow Route 9 North for approximately 3 miles to the intersection of Route 9 and Fairway Lane. Take the jug handle to make a left hand turn and proceed into the Country Club.
From New Brunswick area, proceed on Route 18 South to Route 516 East to Route 9 North. At the first traffic light take the jug handle for a left hand turn into the Country Club.
